Installation
Quinn Davis’s installation work allows the viewer to enter and move around the configured space and/or interact with some of its elements, it offers the viewer a very different experience and may engage the viewer’s senses including touch, sound and smell, as well as vision.
These images are prototypes for an exhibition that wrestle with questions around object identity and de-colonisation.
Installation are curated experiences that are often designed around a space or a theme.
They are also collaborations between curators, lighting specialist, art handlers and the public.
This makes them very much like making a film, that is a liaison of talents, towards a common goal.
